A restroom trailer rental goes smoothly when you settle three things before you ask for a quote: how many people the trailer has to serve, where it will sit, and what it will plug into. Get those right and the rest is a short checklist.
Before You Request a Quote
Confirm your guest or crew count and how long the event or project will run.
Choose a trailer size that provides enough restroom capacity for your expected attendance.
Verify that the site has enough level space and a suitable delivery route.
Confirm the power and water requirements for the specific trailer.
Decide whether you need extras such as an attendant, generator, water supply, decor package or additional weekly service.
A Royal Flush runs its own fleet of 80 restroom trailers out of Bridgeport, CT, and delivers across Connecticut, New York and New Jersey.
The fleet ranges from compact 8 ft units to 28 ft Premier trailers, so the real work is matching the right trailer to your guest list and your site.
Restroom Trailer Rental Starts With Your Guest Count
Trailer size is the first decision in any restroom trailer rental, because it sets the stall count, the footprint and everything that follows.
A Royal Flush lists restroom trailers from 8 ft to 28 ft, plus 21 ft and 25 ft luxury models and an ADA trailer.
The smaller trailers suit private events and small crews. The 12 ft model has private unisex facilities, while the 14 ft and larger models add full women’s and men’s sides.
The 24 ft trailer is the workhorse for bigger guest lists, and A Royal Flush lists it for up to 200 guests.

Trailer details are based on A Royal Flush’s restroom trailer listings. Confirm current availability when you request a quote.
The luxury models make sense when the restroom is part of the guest experience, as at a wedding or corporate event. For a crew or a short private party, a smaller standard trailer often does the job.
Headcount is only half the picture, because event length matters too.
A two-hour cocktail hour and an eight-hour festival need different capacity at the same attendance.
If you are comparing a trailer against several single units, this breakdown of how many porta potties you need gives you a ratio to test your plan against.
Check Power, Water and Footprint Before You Book
A restroom trailer still needs utilities at the site.
The 24 ft trailer, for example, calls for four 110v 20 amp electrical cords and one standard garden hose.
Requirements vary by model, so confirm them for the trailer you choose.
1
Power
Confirm the electrical requirements and that suitable outlets are available near the trailer location.
2
Water
Confirm access to a suitable water connection. The 24 ft model lists one standard garden hose.
3
Space
Measure both the trailer footprint and the additional room required for stairs, access and setup.
If the site has no outlet or spigot nearby, ask about a generator or water supply. A Royal Flush lists both as options on the 24 ft trailer.
Measure the Site and Delivery Route
Then measure the space.
The 24 ft trailer is 24 ft long, 8 ft wide and 13 ft high, and it grows to approximately 30 ft by 12 ft once the extended stairs are down.
Do not measure only the final parking spot.
Walk the entire delivery route and look for low branches, narrow gate openings, tight turns, overhead obstacles and soft ground. A trailer that cannot reach its planned location cannot be used there.
Ground matters as much as space.
Firm, level ground keeps the trailer steady and the stairs safe, so avoid slopes and soft turf, or ask the team what site preparation helps.
Choose the Interior and the Add-Ons
Inside, A Royal Flush describes its trailers as modern interiors with hardwood floors, chair railing, wood-trimmed mirrors, vanity countertops and premium product dispensers.
The 24 ft trailer lists:
Flushing Porcelain Toilets
A more residential-style restroom experience than standard portable units.
Freshwater Sinks
Provides guests with running water for handwashing.
Interior Lighting
Suitable for evening events and indoor-style guest comfort.
Air Conditioning
Helps keep the interior comfortable during warm-weather events.
Heating
Provides additional comfort for cold-weather rentals.
On the 24 ft trailer you can pick a standard or Presidential interior.
Other options include:
Restroom attendant
Service technician
Decor packages
Damage waiver
Additional weekly service
Generator where required
Water supply where required
An attendant keeps supplies stocked while the event is running.
Plan Service for the Rental Period
Service between and during use runs through the Precision Service Plan, which covers waste pumping, interior cleaning, supply restocking, odor control and inspections.
A restroom trailer rental can also solve a headcount problem on a work site.
Construction Site Planning
OSHA’s construction sanitation standard requires at least one toilet for 20 or fewer workers, then one toilet seat and one urinal per 40 workers for crews of 20 to 200, and one per 50 workers beyond 200.
Long projects can put significant demand on individual units, which is where a larger restroom trailer may make sense.
If the job site is in New York or Newark, check the delivery route early, since tight city access can limit which trailer size fits.
How to Book a Restroom Trailer in Four Steps
Confirm Your Headcount and Event Hours
Determine how many guests or workers the trailer needs to serve and how long the event or project will run, then select an appropriate trailer size.
Send the Site Address and Utility Information
Provide the location and explain where electrical power and water are available.
Choose the Interior and Add-Ons
Select any options you need, such as an attendant, generator, water supply, service technician or decor package.
Confirm Delivery Access and Service
Review the delivery route, trailer location and service schedule for the complete rental period.
Event length changes the service plan.
A one-day wedding may need only delivery, setup and pickup, while a multi-week project calls for scheduled service visits and additional weekly service.
What to Have Ready When You Request a Quote
Having the basic information ready makes it easier to size the trailer and confirm whether the site can support it.
Date and hours of the event or rental period
Guest or crew count
Site address
Location of available electrical power
Location of available water
Gate widths or other access restrictions
Slopes, soft ground or other site conditions
Whether you need an attendant or additional service
Whether ADA accessibility is required
A Royal Flush owns its fleet rather than brokering units from other companies, so one company answers for the trailer from delivery to pickup.
Ask for a restroom trailer rental quote once you have a headcount, a date and a site address, and the team can confirm size, hookups and options in one conversation.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many people does a restroom trailer hold?
Capacity depends on the model and how long the event runs. A Royal Flush lists its 24 ft trailer for up to 200 guests, with 4 to 5 ladies’ stalls, 2 men’s stalls and 3 urinals. Smaller trailers serve smaller guest lists, so match the model to your headcount and event hours.
Does a restroom trailer need power and water?
Yes. The 24 ft model needs four 110v 20 amp electrical cords and one standard garden hose. If the site has neither, ask about a generator or a water supply, which A Royal Flush lists as options.
Is a restroom trailer better than a regular porta potty?
It depends on the event. A trailer offers flushing porcelain toilets, freshwater sinks, lighting, and heating and cooling that standard portable units do not. Standard units still suit rough sites and large crews. Restroom trailers compared with single portable units covers the trade-offs.
Can I get an ADA accessible restroom trailer?
A Royal Flush lists an ADA restroom trailer in its fleet. Ask for it when you request a quote and share your guest count so the team can plan around it.
Size It, Site It and Book It
A successful restroom trailer rental starts with three practical questions: How many people will use it? Where will the trailer sit? What power and water are available?
Once those details are clear, choosing the trailer size, interior, add-ons and service schedule becomes much easier.
Event length matters just as much as attendance. A short private event, an all-day wedding and a multi-week construction project can have very different service requirements even when the headcount looks similar.
A Royal Flush has more than 30 years of event and construction rental experience across Connecticut, New York and New Jersey, with its own restroom trailer fleet based in Bridgeport, CT.
Have your date, headcount and location ready when you request an estimate so the team can confirm the appropriate trailer, site requirements, hookups and available options.
